Malcolm Fraser — An American philanthropist and businessman. Joining his brother, Carlyle Fraser, he was one of the early founders of the Genuine Parts Company in 1928. In 1947, he founded and endowed the Stuttering Foundation, giving it most of its $30 million dollar endowment. He was the recipient of the fourth annual National Council on Communicative Disorders' Distinguished Service Award and posthumous recipient of the NCCD's Charles Van Riper Award, and a book he authored, Self-Therapy for the Stutterer , has been called a "classic." It is now in its 11 th edition and has been translated into 26 languages.
