A job application letter is a letter that contains a brief and concise description of a person’s work history. People have misconceptions that cover letters and application letters are basically the same, but there is actually a difference between the two. While a cover letter has almost the same function with that of an application letter, a cover letter is only meant to be brief and a teaser to your resume. While on the other hand, an application letter can stand on its own even without resumes. An application letter is often used for unsolicited job offers, when there is not really a job vacancy but nevertheless, you are interested in applying for a position in that company.
